Per Diem Coordinator - Laredo TS003

Previous tissue banking, medical experience, and bilingual preferred.  I yr exp in operating room and/or aseptic technical procedures preferred Background in tissue/ cornea recovery preferred. Must be at least 21 years old with 3 yrs good driving record  req’d. Certification/License:  Certified Tissue Bank Specialist, License Vocational Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Medical Technologist preferred

PT Casual: 24/7 coverage responsibility to be shared with another per diem in the Laredo TX area.

Per-Diem Procurement Tech –Rio Grand Valley TS004 /Laredo TS001

Responsible for the recovery cases only at hospitals or other designated facilities in accordance to STBTC policies and procedures.  1yr. exp in operating room sterile procedures and tissue banking preferred.  Min 21 yrs w/ 3 yrs driving

exp & good driving record req’d. Certification/License: Operating Room Technician or Certified Tissue Bank Specialist pref’d.

PT: Casual:  7 Days/week 24 hours on call

Responsible for performing medical evaluation of donors, determining donor eligibility, collecting safe & quality blood products, & monitoring the safety of donors.  Responsible for monitoring the overall functions of mobile blood drives &/or collection sites & assigned staff.  Certified Medical Assistant pref’d.  Qualified as a Technician I &/or Technician II, or prior applicable exp in blood banking or source plasma collection.  1 yr blood center/plasma center exp pref’d.  Must be at least 21 yrs old w/ a good driving record.  3 yrs driving exp req’d.  Computer skills pref’d.  CDL pref’d.

Responsible for communicating external client laboratory testing results.  Ensures all laboratory reports are completed & exported in a timely manner in accordance with client contracts.  Also maintains a good working rapport & relationship with all external clients. Ensures timely notification of test results to clients.  Computer exp req’d.  Excellent customer service skills req’d.

Coordinate, schedule & conduct building and property maintenance for a 57,000 sq ft facility in Norcross GA.  Must have a strong working knowledge of methods and equipment used in building and equipment maintenance and repairs.  Must have strong mechanical aptitude.  Three years of Building maintenance experience required.  Some Supervisory experience preferred.  Computer skills pref’d.  BOMI SMT or SMA certification or other Building Maintenance Trades Certification pref’d.

Technical Specialist – Information Technology GL014

Coordinate, schedule & conduct maintenance and repair of enterprise desktops and the applications that run on them.  Requires excellent troubleshooting skills.  Must have considerable knowledge of desktop support, PC hardware, PC office applications and PC peripherals. Organize & assist in the use of Remote Control Software to resolve desktop issues.  Must have working knowledge of MS XP and Vista operation systems, HP PC hardware, Ghost, Window 7, MS Server, and Cisco.  Two years experience as a Desktop or Helpdesk analyst required.  Five years experience working with Window based OS and PC hardware required.  A+ certification or other technology related certification desired

Technical Specialist – Materials Management - GL015

Coordinate and schedule purchase requests with a central purchasing department for a large testing laboratory.  Organize & assist with distribution of inventory materials to specified departments.  Manage all materials in the warehouse.  Must provide professional customer service at all times.  Five years of inventory or related work experience preferred.  Must be certified to operate forklift and other equipment as required by OSHA, the State, and other regulating agencies. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles beneficial.
